It does not prevent it for every body, but clinical studies have shown, that men who are sexual active reduce the chance of getting prostate cancer by a high percentage. Flash All data can be found at health sites.
2 :
About 80% .. . .. You have to remember that the doctors tell men to start to have their prostate checked out when they get into their 50's .. . .. Why do you think that is the age of fear in men cause they have been knocking it to the woman for the last 35 + years and it has become kind of like that doctor that has looked at the womans body for the last 35 years .. . .. Kind of getting to be the same old thing the thrill is gone and so is the recycling of the prostate fluids they kind of lay there waiting to be shot out to be replace with new fresh stuff .. . .. Get the idea behind it now Old milk in the frig does have an expiration date on it you know before it goes bad .. . ..

Yes, they say this is true, because, when you have sex and ejaculate, then you are clearing out the stale semen.and making way for new production. Therefore keping your canals clear and clean.
4 :
I can see no truth in it whatsoever - otherwise wouldn't prostrate cancer not exist?
5 :
The one report I saw said that higher rates of ejculation during the 20s and 30s were associated with lower rates of prostate cancer. The evidence was kind of thin, though, and I haven't seen the study replicated. I think most guys would prefer to stay on the safe side, and masturbate or have other kinds of sex very frequently. No sense in taking any unnecessary chances.

My husband heard that sex can prevent prostate cancer is that really true

yes it can. ejactulation releases testosterone that would only build up in the prostate. too much testosterone in your prostates causes prostate cancer
2 :
Frequent emptying of the prostrate has shown to reduce the chance of prostrate cancer, either by sex, masturbation or prostrate massage (look it up).
3 :
Brandon A is right and wrong. Testosterone does NOT build up in the prostate, but it can promote cancer. However, studies have shown that ejaculations will decrease the risks associated with prostate cancer. The prostate is a gland, and it needs to be kept healthy and ACTIVE. There are also supplements that can be taken such as: saw palmetto, shark cartilage, and others; check with your herbal dealer.
4 :
then i gues u both shud start workin
5 :
it could...but its a good way of getting you to have sex with him more lol
6 :
Frequent sexual intercourse and masturbation protects men against a common form of cancer, suggests the largest study of the issue to date yet. The US study, which followed nearly 30,000 men over eight years, showed that those that ejaculated most frequently were significantly less likely to get prostate cancer
7 :
it is true in some regard. the issue is and completely depends on the condition of the prostate right now. does he currently have prostate cancer, yes or no. if no, it should help. if yes, it may or may not help. once the prostate has cancer, increased testosterone levels will increase the growth of cancer. this is a big debate, if you don't have cancer in your prostate, it may be truye that higher levels of testosterone may prevent prostate cancer. men generally don't get prostate cancer until they are older, when testosterone levels start to naturally drop.

Yes, it's very important for men to have prostate exams when they reach a certain age. I know there are some stores that always request donations for prostate cancer research.
2 :
it should be on commercials . it doesn't have enough awareness .
3 :
You're a guy, it could be in your future, then you'll see how aware you become.
4 :
Well truthfully I knew nothing about it, until my uncle was diagnosed with it... he has overcame it for right now. But... I heard a few different thing that I hope might help. Its not alot... but I heard that if you have an occupation that you tend to sit a lot; ex: truck driving because of you sitting for most of your time it can cause something that years and years down the road you might be diagnosed with it. And on Dr. Oz, I heard becareful with what kind of milk you drink. Sometimes because of what ppl inject into the cows now, studies have recently shown that it causes prostate.. So Im not too sure about facts, but that's a couple of things I heard about that horrible stupid type of cancer. Good luck and God Bless
