By all means, get to a major hospital that has that speciality, like John's Hopkins in Baltimore, MD or Sloan Kettering in New York. Also, I hear Univ. of Texas is an excellent cancer facility. Do you take Saw Palmetto. It's good for prostate, urinary problems. Cranberry juice is also good for the prostate - if you like the taste. You can also eat the berries of cranberries.

There is no hospital that specializes in prostate cancer. Pick a urologist you like and understand. They will explain the options to you and their reasons behind their recommendations. There are too many variables with prostate cancer and much depends on the man’s lifestyle, age, the grade of the cancer and the stage.

Firstly prostate cancer is generally VERY slow growing. BUT that doesn't mean you should leave it alone. Get it checked by a urologist or so like denisedds suggested. Although after researching it myself (going nearly crazy over the summer) I learned that prostate cancer is so slow growing many men die with or without knowing they had prostate cancer, of other causes.
