According to true scripture (the path to the absolute) masturbation is not a sin, it is not even relevant to the discourse, and would be considered vile to be even brought up. However, you are correct that the Christian tradition thinks it is a sin, caused by corruption of the scriptures, the oldest way of creating chaos, just like they are corrupting our constitution.

Why would you think that God wants you to be an unhealthy individual? Of course God doesn't want you have prostate cancer. You do know that there are plenty of other ways to lower your risks of getting the disease. If you eat the right kinds of fruits and vegetables, it certainly lowers the risk. Masturbating isn't found in scripture, but the reason why I know its not a good thing to do is because its unnatural. God created man and woman to have desires for each other, and to experience sexual pleasure together in marriage. But when you masturbate it warps that normal pleasure and it invites the opportunity for other sins such as pornography, lust, and even adultery. The bottom line is that masturbation was not God's design but it was satan's way of perverting something that God called good which was sex between a man and woman in marriage..

No one really knows. He may want you to have cancer. The real question is why he wants you to have cancer? He may want you to learn something from it. I am still dealing with my prostate cancer. I have learned a few things.

Although I do believe God will punish us all for the sinning that we do, I do not believe God hates you for what you do. They're many ways to keep your prostate in good health other than masterbation. Talk to your doctor about what you can do besided that.

Hmm...maybe god was angry he only had a one-timer with Mary. And that sure as hell wasn't the best of unions, he unleashed some hallucinating lunatic who has been the base for 'unholy' crusades and wars. Anyways maybe he was upset he couldn't have sex with anyone after that, and since he couldn't masturbate he ended up with prostate cancer, and since he didn't want to be alone in that he gave it to everyone else like him.
