You would have to ask the VA, who will (apparently) pay you something...even though there is no evident link between exposure to Agent Orange and developing the cancer...if you or someone you love has it, it's because they are an older man, not because of any kind of exposure. One in four of ALL people get cancer of one form or another during their lifetime. We would all be better off if we focused more on research and less on blame. Please pass along a "Thank you for your Service" to whoever you were asking for... "Prostate cancer is considered by the Institute of Medicine to have suggestive but not conclusive evidence of an association with Agent Orange exposure. Prostate cancer is a gland - the loss of a gland due to exposure to Agent Orange is considered 100% disability. I had prostate cancer - as it runs in families, my brother was tested and found to have the cancer also. My brother is a Nam Vet and found out after the fact the info I placed up above. Any Nam Vet who develops prostate cancer is assumed to have contracted the cancer through exposure to Agent Orange
