because you might get used to it then not even a wife like Pamela Anderson can satisfies you .
2 :
because it doesn't. it makes you looks desperate, anyone can get a wife/husband so just get married.
3 :
Masturbation can cause premature ejaculation, then a person will not enjoy zina nor halaal intercourse. I am sure there are other ways to cure prostate cancer.
4 :
i am fighting my self now! HAAAAAAAHHRRRRRRRRRRRR
5 :
If there is one "good" thing, does this mean there is no bad? Take alcohol for example, this has some scientific good in it doesnt it? But has many more harmful effects. Same as masturbation. Much more harm then good.
6 :
The premise of your question is false, as masturbation does not cure prostate cancer. If you are inclined to disbelieve me, by all means, go speak to real physician for an explanation of prostate cancer treatment options. I dare say you will find masturbation does not make that list.
7 :
Salam. Masturbation is haram in Islam because (1)it is included as approaching zina or adultery or hand zina as stated in the qur'an which is not allowed including hugging, hissing and embracing before married (2)masturbation can be avoided by fasting for decreasing your sexual desires in line with hadith (3)the full semen or sperms will automatically pour down in wet dream naturally if you avoided masturbation and (4)masturbation oftenly will deteriorite your own health and make a prema ture ejaculation in the future. I had a prostate disease surgery 2 years ago but now is okay I read 3 books about the prostate diseases but I did not find that its cure is through masturbation.
8 :
Muslims have classically married fairly young (16-21). Assuming one gets married and begins having sex regularly at this age, the advantages of masturbation over sex in prostate cancer prevention are small enough to be unnoticeable without a rigorous comparative study.
9 :
Habitual masturbation is indeed haram, because it's no more than an addiction, just like being addicted to drugs or alcohol. Masturbation can ruin marriages and it's unhealthy for those who are in committed relationships. Not to say masturbation that almost always goes hand in hand with (watching) porn. 'Masturbation is said to cure prostate cancer' - bring some reliable evidence for this claim.
10 :
It is not *****, it is 88888. There is not prostate in females.
11 :
Not a cure. Many believe that a build up of sperm which in not naturally released can CAUSE prostate cancer. Whether it is haram or halal 100% of men and 95% of women have and will continue to carry on with this 'evil' act. It is a natural habit. And in general those who scream foul the loudest are the biggest culprits.
12 :
Masturbation is not at all good for the health . Please read ; http://www.scribd.com/doc/8432000/Asaram-Bapu-The-Secret-of-Eternal-Youth It will clearly show how masturbaton is bad for you especially ; ------------------------------------- Modern medical opinion- Eminent European Medical experts also support the statements of the Yogis of India. Dr. Nicole says, "It is a medical and physiological fact that the best blood in the body goes to form the elements of reproduction in both the sexes. In a pure and orderly life, this matter is reabsorbed. It goes back into circulation ready to form the finest brain, nerve and muscular tissues. This vital fluid of man carried back and diffused through his system makes him manly, strong, brave and heroic. If wasted, it leaves him effeminate, weak and physically debilitated and prone to sexual irritation and disordered function, a wretched nervous system, epilepsy and various other diseases and death. The suspension of the use of the generative organs is attained with a notable increase of bodily, mental and spiritual vigour." If the spermatic secretion in man is continuous, it must either be expelled or be reabsorbed. As a result of the most patient and preserving scientific investigations, it has been found that whenever the seminal secretions are conserved and thereby reabsorbed into the system, it goes towards enriching the blood and strengthening the brain. Dr. Dio Louis thinks that the conservation of this element is essential to strength of body, vigour of mind and keenness of intellect. Another writer Dr. E.P. Miller says: "All waste of spermatic secretions, whether voluntary or involuntary, is a direct waste of the life-force. It is almost universally conceded that the choicest element of the blood enters into the composition of the spermatic secretions. If these conclusions are correct, then it follows that celibacy in life is essential to man's ultimate well- being." http://www.scribd.com/doc/8432000/Asaram-Bapu-The-Secret-of-Eternal-Youth www.ashram.org www.hariomgroup.org
13 :
Masturbation doesn't cure prostate. Scientists believe that men who ejaculate regularly (i.e. have a lot of sex and/or masturbate) are less likely to develop prostate cancer than those who ejaculate less frequently. As for why masturbation is haram - most religions teach things which are either completely irrelevant in the modern world, or just plain wrong.

I'm going to guess that the doctor told him it was a 3 of 6 which is probably a cancer staging number. Six being worst case....?
2 :
when my father was diagnosed with cancer they gave him a rating of 2 to 3 which is a scale they use to show how advanced it is, now his number is 4 which means it isnt getting any better as of yet, not sure if they use that number scale for all cancers, my father has lymphoma
3 :
I don't know ask somebody else
4 :
I would think that this the stage that the cancer is in. I can't say for sure, but I know that the Dr. would be more than happy to answer your questions. They understand that the family doesn't always understand the terms that they use. My moms cancer Dr. was very wonderful at answering our questions. Try it, it will help a lot
5 :
They may have been testing his PSA levels. PSA test results report the level of PSA detected in the blood. The test results are usually reported as nanograms of PSA per milliliter (ng/mL) of blood. In the past, most doctors considered PSA values below 4.0 ng/mL as normal. However, recent research found prostate cancer in men with PSA levels below 4.0 ng/mL . Many doctors are now using the following ranges with some variation: 0 to 2.5 ng/mL is low. 2.6 to 10 ng/mL is slightly to moderately elevated. 10 to 19.9 ng/mL is moderately elevated. 20 ng/mL or more is significantly elevated. There is no specific normal or abnormal PSA level. The higher a man’s PSA level, the more likely it is that cancer is present. But because various factors (such as age) can cause PSA levels to fluctuate, one abnormal PSA test does not necessarily indicate a need for other diagnostic tests. When PSA levels continue to rise over time, other tests may be needed. It should be noted that it is common for normal PSA ranges to vary somewhat from laboratory to laboratory.
6 :
They look at the prostate tissue under the microscope and grade two areas- the biggest and second biggest and assign a score from 1-5 with 5 being the worst. The total(9 in your case) gives an idea of how bad the tumor is. Please Wiki for further info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gleason_score
7 :
My father also has prostate cancer it is the PSA levels as stated by "notalonewithcancer" above.
8 :
I had prostate cancer 3 years ago. My PSA was 4.5 and my Gleason was 6. I have an idea the 3-6 your speaking of was his Gleason score.. and that means his cancer is very treatable. If treated properly he has about a 90% survival chance.. at least that is what I was told with a Gleason of 6.. I think it indicates the speed of the growth of the cancer. Also, I had my cancer treated with Proton Radiation.. It is not like regular Radiation.. It has no side effects.. your not sick and you dont end up wearing a diaper because you cant control your bladder.. Surgery and conventional radiation causes this lots of times. I am totally convinced Proton Radiation is the very best Prostate Cancer treatment available to day.. It has little to no side effects and the cure rate is as good if not better than any of the other treatments.. There is a website on line called Proton Bob that your father should read.. he especially needs to read the patient testimonial section.. Bob stands for brotherhood of the balloon.. a balloon is used in the treatment.. Also there is a new book just out that every one diagnosed with Prostate Cancer should read.. it is called You Can Beat Prostate Cancer and was written by Robert J. Marckini. He is a Prostate Cancer survivor... The books tells lots about Prostate Cancer.. but the main thing is that it out lines all of the current treatments available and their pros and cons of each.. Be sure and read the Proton Bob website, especially the testimonals.. If your father can have Proton Radiation, I am totally convinced it is the best treatment available today. No side effects, not sick during, or after the treatments...and about 90 % of the time your completely cured... If your father has any questions, please feel free to email me..and I will be glad to share my experience with him.. I would be glad to vist with him on the phone also.. best of luck. I read some of the anwers above... some indicating the 6 was bad.. they dont know what they are talking about.. so dont get down because of that.. it is very treatable>>

unnpwazcxgsdvfalksjsfdkbdv.fv- it's a type of vegtable
2 :
Lots of juice and veggies and fruits
3 :
I would ask your proctologist for a menu. You'll find out that you want high fiber and of course lots of vitamins. And, if you can handle eating them, they are testing fresh chili peppers for qualities that are very beneficial to fellows in your situation. I'd do some research on it. Good luck with that.

Tomato and broccoli can slow prostate tumor growth, study says January 23, 2007 - Tomatoes and broccoli contain substances believed to help slow prostate tumor growth. Now, researchers say that eating both at the same time is better than eating them separately. The study in the journal Cancer Research also finds that the whole foods are more effective in fighting cancer than lycopene supplements. Researchers at the University of Illinois say the most concentrated veggie combination enhanced tumor destruction and slowed their growth. It's recommended men have about two and a half cups of tomatoes or one cup of tomato sauce along with about a cup and a half of broccoli every day. http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=health&id=4964165 Q: Once a prostate gland has been removed because of cancer, can diet help prevent the cancer from recurring? A: Nobody knows for certain. Obviously, if all the cancer cells and prostate cells have been removed by surgery, then dietary supplements would not be needed to prevent recurrence. If any cancer cells were left behind, perhaps, they could help prevent these cancer cells from accumulating more mutations and becoming more aggressive. http://www.drcatalona.com/qa/faq_prevention.asp

Removed prostate cancer, rising psa levels

removed prostate cancer, rising psa levels?
my dad is 70 had his prostate removed around 3 years ago. he's been fine ever since, but recently he had a blood test that showed chnages in his psa levels? what does this mean. has the cancer spread through the body or still where the prostate used to be

1 :
There's three possibilities: some of the prostate gland may have remained intact and the gland is growing back with normal cells; the gland could be growing with cancerous cells; or some of the cancerous cells spread elsewhere. The docs will have to run some tests to see what is causing this. When part of the prostate is left intact, It is common for the prostate tissues to increase after surgery, so it's not necessarily a sign that something is wrong.
2 :
If your father had his prostate removed they removed the whole thing. A rising PSA is an indication of disease progression, but this does not mean it has spread through the body. It is not unusual for a PSA to start rising years before metastatic disease is evident and it is not likely any other tests will be run at this point. Hormone therapy should keep it manageable for years to come. Typically prostate cancer is slow growing and many patients live 15-20 years with the disease.

I hate to tell you this, but it's obviously in its final stages. When cancer metasticizes and spreads to vital organs, it's pretty much over soon.
2 :
It is a stage 4.
3 :
Once a cancer leaves the primary location and spreads new cancer cells to a different area in the body . . it is called metastatic cancer. This is considered advanced cancer or stage IV cancer. Staging is for the benefit of the patient to determine how to proceed with treatment. It is not a death sentence . . or a 'final stage' . . it is a stage. Advanced cancer needs to be treated more aggressively than an early stage or stage 1 cancer. In general there are different types of staging depending on the type of cancer you have . .but generally there are four treatment stages. Cancer is a progressive disease which means it starts out tiny and begins to grow . . the smaller the cancer than the lower the stage . . as the cancer grows it may invade local tissue or begin new tumors in the same location . . this would be stage 2 or stage 3 cancer . . . when a cancer reaches stage 4 it means that the cancer is usually large, there may be more than one, and the tumor has shed hundreds of microscopic malignant cells into the blood stream and sent them to a new location where a new colony of cancer starts. That is called metastasis or stage IV cancer. Because your friends cancer started in the prostate and has now metastasized to the bone and through the blood stream into the lung . . he is considered a stage IV. This is not impossible to treat, but it will be more difficult.

erm... Politician = false data.
2 :
Frequent Fliers British citizens are fleeing the country in record numbers to get medical treatment — in order to escape the government-run national health system. The Daily Mail reports a new survey reveals 70,000 patients are expected to fly out this year. By the end of the decade – 200,000 so-called "health tourists" will travel to destinations as far as Malaysia and South Africa to get major surgery and avoid long waiting lists and the rising threat of superbugs in public hospitals.
3 :
Please explain. What data are you referring to? I understand that countries with socialized health care, play with the numbers. They delay diagnosis testing for months to artificially inflate success numbers. Perhaps he wishes to ensure that no form of Hillary-Care sees the light of day.
