yes.
2 :
Get it checked out pronto! Better to know one way or the other.
3 :
Go to the doctor.
4 :
YES! Go get get it checked out RIGHT AWAY!
5 :
Yes, and we adults call it a scrotum.
6 :
I cant give you a definite answer, but you should definately get it checked out by a doctor to clear any worries.
7 :
either way didn't need to know tat! hope you don't have a actual pic of u on ur frame!
8 :
a doctor can only know that
9 :
Yes it is.. but I would say more of testicular cancer, not prostate. Testicular cancer is VERY bad but you can be healed if you have it removed/treated in time.. A lot of well known people have had this.. including Tom Green and that biker guy I can't remember his name. Good luck! RPSWIMGIRL - grow up.
10 :
yes this can be. But to be sure of a correct diagnoses please consult a doctor. You should check yourself monthly for theese lumps to prevent any late treatments.
11 :
If it is red and raised.. it could be an ingrown hair. I got that when I was 16 or so.. I almost passed out. lol. If it is red and sore.. just take a hot washcloth and hold it up against it for a while.. It will loosen it up,
12 :
aaaahhhhh
13 :
Could be, I hope not. You should go with the doctor, this is serious.
14 :
yep. get your nuts checked out ASAP!!!!! best of luck to you and your nuts!!!
15 :
go to doctor!
16 :
U gotta go to the doctor A.S.A.P K
17 :
More likely testicular cancer if there is a lump on your scrotum. You should def. get it checked AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This is a very serious disease and if caught early enough can be treated. But, Definately go to a doctor and have him/her diagnose whatever it may be. Better to be safe than sorry. Edit~ You can get testicular cancer at 18. I've actually heard from physicians that it is most common in young adult males.
18 :
haha you said ball sack
19 :
I'm not sure prostate cancer would show up that way. Testicular cancer, epididimitis or a hernia might. Either way, you need to get to a physician and get checked out. Whatever is going on is probably treatable, but it can't be treated if you don't know what it is. Sorry, no one is too young for cancer, unfortunately. Best wishes

You might have a urinary tract infection. I would say that's A LOT more likely than prostate cancer. Although it is more difficult more a male to get a UTI than a female, it is definitely a possibility. Go see your family doc and I'm sure he will fix you right up. Also, try some cranberry juice.... that will help a little.
2 :
Prostate cancer doesnt affect people before 40 yrs of age. However if these symptoms have been present for a while or if they persist go see a doctor
3 :
hi ethan, most people are really disturbed when they are ill ed. in your case i would suggest you must eat more fruits and vegetables so the bacterias, virus and toxic that we get from food we eat and pollutions be cleanse from our body system. avoid eating junk foods, food with preservatives like noodles, fast foods and can goods. another suggestion look for " himalayan Goji juice or Gochi ". this is a kind of food supplements which will keep your body healthier and eliminate any problem causing our body in pain or sickly.
4 :
SHUTUP you don;t have prostrate cancer i would drink a LOT OF water and see if i that helps IF not go a doc
5 :
It is beyond unlikely that you have prostate cancer. It's extremely rare in men under 50, and so rare in young men that there are no statistics available for the disease incidence in men under 35. Over 80% of men diagnosed with prostate cancer are over 65 and half of all cases occur in men over 75. See your doctor about the symptoms you have, but stop worrying about cancer.
6 :
Don't worry. A 14 year old is not going to get prostate cancer. It could be just an infection. Check with your doctor. Prostate cancer is common among American men. But, very few men die from prostate cancer. Treatment for prostate cancer works best when the disease is found early and has not spread to other parts of your body. Your chance of getting prostate cancer may be affected by your: * Age. Being 50 or older increases your chance of prostate cancer. * Race. Prostate cancer is most common among African-American men. * Family history. If your father or brother has had prostate cancer, you are more likely to have it too. * Diet. Eating high-fat food with few fruits and vegetables may increase your chance of having prostate cancer.

It all depends on the person and how bad it is and how strong the person is. My dad had prostate cancer for many many years and lived to be 90. They have very good treatments today.
2 :
As soon as they open you up it spreads all over.
3 :
Unfortunately not long once cancer has been confermed spread from one organ to the other chances are it has hit more than one place already. As of time left to live our days are only numbered by god so the only prediction would be soon. Everyone is differant and every disease affects humans in differant ways. Good luck to you and your friend the best you can do now is keep him comfortable and be there for him.

You can’t check your prostate and you wouldn’t know what to look for it you could. If you’re worried see a doctor.

What are the symptoms of prostate cancer and is it hereditary/

What are the symptoms of prostate cancer and is it hereditary/?

Prostate Cancer Symptoms If the cancer is caught at its earliest stages, most men will not experience any symptoms. Some men, however, will experience symptoms that might indicate the presence of prostate cancer, including: A need to urinate frequently, especially at night; Difficulty starting urination or holding back urine; Weak or interrupted flow of urine; Painful or burning urination; Difficulty in having an erection; Painful ejaculation; Blood in urine or semen; or Frequent pain or stiffness in the lower back, hips, or upper thighs.
2 :
Most patients will never experience symptoms, Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer found in American men, other than skin cancer. Some symptoms are a need to urinate frequently, especially at night, Difficulty starting urination or holding back urine, Painful or burning urination, Painful ejaculation, Frequent pain or stiffness in the lower back, hips, or upper thighs. Hereditary = Risk factors are Age, Family History, Ethnicity, and Diet. Family history is the strongest risk factor for prostate cancer. A man with one close relative (such as a father OR brother) with prostate cancer has twice the risk of developing prostate cancer as a man with no family history. If two close male relatives (such as a brother AND a father) are affected, a man's lifetime risk of developing prostate cancer is increased 5 fold.
3 :
There are no early warning signs! A yearly PSA test is all but required for men over 50...elevated PSA can indicate a problem. At the same time, your prostate is palpated by the doc to see if anything abnormal can be felt. This is a very slow growing cancer and if caught very early, has a good prognosis. The propenisty for the cancer is inherited, but because others in your family have had prostate cancer does not mean you will have it..it does mean you have to be on the look out for it, as we all should be. Good luck

My father-in-law has prostate cancer and I am collecting well-wishes for him

My father-in-law has prostate cancer and I am collecting well-wishes for him...?
I am compiling a book of well-wishes for my father-in-law, who is going through cancer treatments. I did this when our son was deployed to Iraq, and it gave him such a boost! If you would like to help, please send me your greeting, and don't forget to add where you are from. Thank you so much for your support!

hey! good luck with everything! you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. I'm from Hudsonville, Michigan... i'll make sure everyone around here prays for you too :)
4 :
NO! He can still be saved... Look up Rick Simpson... He makes the essential oil from the cannabis plant which he calls "hemp oil" it's basically concentrated THC. This may sound asinine, but it really works, I swear to god. Tell this to anyone and they will say it's BS. It really works. Look into this, find out about the WHOLE story, and you will be convinced. This medicine is being suppressed from us all in the name of personal profit. Give this a chance, and you won't regret it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjhT9282-Tw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PwMmSxZANE&feature=PlayList&p=16D811D6BCB8D848&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=10 Watch those two videos. The second one includes the scientific evidence explained... It's in part 6. Everyone writes this off as a bunch of rubbish, but those people are just ignorant and refuse to look at the entire story presented before them. it WILL work.
5 :
Great idea. My father has it but it has not progressed in over a year. My best friends father just beat it. I wish your father in law all the best and I am sure he will be around to give you a hard time for many years to come.

Can abstinence cause an increased risk of prostate cancer

Can abstinence cause an increased risk of prostate cancer?
if so, how do I solve this if I have no girl to have sexual relations with?
Cancer - 8 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
No it does not, abstinence will prevent you from getting nasty diseases however. If you are concerned about a back up down there, I recommend relieving it yourself. If your worried about how to get a girl, do not bring this up to her and you should be fine.
2 :
I don't believe that that is true..... plus if your young you don't really need to worry about prostate cancer all that much. Just make sure you get checked out by your doctor.
3 :
It does not. That is fiction.
4 :
I doubt that it does.... if that is a worry then do what men have done for centuries... self satisfy.
5 :
Well a good flushing of the testes promotes a healthy prostrate. If you are a male,I'm shure one way or another you will relieve yourself.
6 :
Prostate cancer is usually adenocarcinoma. Symptoms are rare until urethral obstruction occurs. Diagnosis is suggested by digital rectal examination or prostate-specific antigen measurement and confirmed by biopsy. Prognosis for most patients with prostate cancer, especially when it is localized or regional, is very good; more men die with prostate cancer than of it. Treatment is with prostatectomy, radiation therapy, or, for some elderly patients, watchful waiting. The cause of prostate cancer is unknown, although some studies have shown a relationship between high dietary fat intake and increased testosterone levels. When testosterone levels are lowered either by surgical removal of the testicles (castration, orchiectomy) or by medication, prostate cancer can slowly get better. There is no known association with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Prostate cancer is the third most common cause of death from cancer in men of all ages and is the most common cause of death from cancer in men over 75 years old. Prostate cancer is rarely found in men younger than 40. Men at higher risk include African-America men older than 60, farmers, tire plant workers, painters, and men exposed to cadmium. The lowest number of cases occurs in Japanese men and those who do not eat meat (vegetarians). Please see the web pages for more details on Prostate cancer.
7 :
If you are really concerned you can take matters into your own hands, so to speak.
8 :
Abstinence cannot cause an increased risk of prostate cancer. In 1 study out of the hundreds conducted only that 1 found that abstinence could cause an increased risk of prostate cancer plausible. It has been proven that prostate cancer is mainly genetic so you only have something to worry about if someone in your family has prostate cancer. I hope this answer helps you find a girl.
