Does Hillary Laugh While Your Dad/Son Dies of Prostate Cancer

Does Hillary Laugh While Your Dad/Son Dies of Prostate Cancer?
Breast cancer research gets 10 times as much money as prostate cancer research. Yet, 1/2 as many men will die from PC as women will die of BC. Have you heard any female congresswomen fight for the men in their lives? Why NOT????? Is that a sick sign of our culture? captain... men die from PC and women in Congress ignore it. Why? Sexist? Hate of men or what?

My dad doesn't have prostate cancer
2 :
No, but look who she is married to...would YOU fight for that? She probably secretly hopes his thing rots off!
3 :
Wow - this is about the most rabid anti-Hillary post yet. They are getting more and more ridiculous as time goes by. It is both scary and Hillary-ious
4 :
No. This is such a stupid argument that I keep seeing get posted. Does this mean you really have nothing good to attack her on you have to make up some stupid argument like the fact that as a women she would have the gall to try to fight breast cancer. The sick sign of our culture is your question.
5 :
cancer research is NOT mutually exclusive - a cure in breast cancer will lead to great strides in finding a cure for PC Please don't politicize cancer in this way
6 :
Hillary doesnt know what she is doing! Hillary is just trying to get the woman vote we are currently 2:1 She wants health insurance for people that commited a felony by entering the country HELLO!
7 :
If you didn't use Hillary's name in your question you bring up a valid point.
8 :
as prostrate cancer is a slow growing cancer that is easily detected and treated,i don't see the correlation.I get a PSA test every year and had a prostrate biopsy done last year.No big deal.Mother and grandmother both died of breast cancer;that was a big deal.

Does any one about prostate cancer

Does any one about prostate cancer?
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the scale of 1 to 10 he is a seven, he is going to have some more test in his bones and other organs, I would like to know what are his chances of surviving this or if anyone can give me advice.
Cancer - 8 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
As long as it has not spread to his bones or other organs the chances of cure are pretty good.Prostate cancer is one of the cancers that can be treated quite effectivly. There are several options for treatment which include radiation, surgery, homonal therapies , permanent radioactive seed implants, and brachytherapy. If it is very early and depending on his age, observation can be used as prostate cancer grows slowly.
2 :
Your dad is going to come out of this just OK. He will be given a choice of several treatments, mostly what his Urologist and/or Oncologist have had better results with. I have a Gleason Score of (4+5) 9 and a PSA of 4.3 and my only treatment is: Hormone Therapy, External Beam Radiation and Implanted Radioactive Seeds. With your dads Gleason Score he may be able to have removal, which is the best, if the prostate is gone and it has not spread to other areas, the cancer will be gone. The key is: that the cancer has not spread. You will get all the advise you want, much of it will vary since everyone is different. Do as much research as you can on the internet. Again, with his Gleason Score, I believe he will come out of this OK.
3 :
Probably his physician would be the best to ask, but from what I know it depends on a few more factors. First, in gleason rating, 4+3=7 for instance has a worse prognosis than 3+4=7. I'd be curious to know what his PSA levels are. If his PSA levels are low with a gleason score of 7, I have heard it doesn't indicate an extremely aggressive tumor. I think the survival rate depends on what type of treatment he receives. External radiation with seeds has anywhere from a 60-90% 5 year cancer free survival rate (as you probably know they say this because if you have no cancer after the 5 year mark, though it can come back, you are technically considered 'cured'.) It doesn't mean that the person will only live for 5 years. Anyway, it has been demonstrated that the radiation with seeds which can have a 60% 10 yr survival rate is actually enhanced by certain hormones. WIth the addition of these hormones, some studies have shown up to a 90% five year cancer free survival rate (as close to a cure as you can get). A gleason rating of 8 is getting dangerous, while 7 is intermediate. It may be the case that your father caught it just in time. Also, yes if there is metastasis to the bone as the responder above stated, the prognosis is a bit worse. Good luck and all my prayers.
4 :
Your dad’s chances are good if he takes advantage of what is available to him. One good example of the importance knowledge and doing what it takes is our friend Herb. Herb is 77 years old and is walking proof of gaining knowledge and using it. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 2006 that had spread all over his body causing internal bleeding (PSA 3,360). The cancer had metastasized and was in his lungs, kidneys, lymph nodes, spine, brain and bones. He refused chemo (it was his personal choice due to his age and physical condition), radiation was out of question because cancer cells were everywhere. His doctor’s prognosis was that he shouldn’t be alive, let alone giving him any life expectancy. He was given only hormone shots. Herb has recovered and is cancer free today by raising his Glutathione (taking Immunocal which boosted his immune system), he stopped eating junk from fast foods, he drank lots of water, carrying a bottle everywhere with him, and he started resting for at least 8 hours at night (he used to be an insomniac sleeping for only 3-4 hours a night before). His scans are clear. Of course we will pray that your dad's starting condition is better than this, but regardless of where the cancer is right now, please attack it vigorously from the medical and from the health direction. When good nutrition is combined with medicine the most favorable results can be achieved. God bless
5 :
ask him to eat lots (LOTS) of leafy green vegetables
6 :
Your Dad has a good chance of surviving for a long time. But its hard to say without knowing what his PSA is, what his PSA doubling time is, whether the P Cancer has escaped the prostate and gone metastatic. If he was discovered early, then he can go for a cure. I went for a cure 2 years ago via radioactive seeds. I'm still alive and so are many others because it was caught early. Tell your Dad to find a local prostate cancer support group that's sponsored by USToo! ( see their website USToo.org ) and join a listserv called Prostatepointers (PPML) by going to http://listserv.acor.org/SCRIPTS/WA-ACOR.EXE?SUBED1=prostate&A=1 Good luck!
7 :
Rather than depending on random garbage answers, drop down to a book shop, and get a copy of Patrick Walsh's book on prostate cancer. That's the most authoritative reference. Prostate cancer is typically very treatable if caught early, but there are side effects and consequences to every treatment plan. Your father and you need to become educated quickly, but please don't rely on YA to guide you.
8 :
Your Dad has a lot on his mind right now, but from the paperwork I was given to read and info the Dr. gave me I would venture to say he has an excellent chance. Prostate Cancer treatment is no longer in the dark ages and improving everyday. I choose radiation treatment, IMRT. Check the web site People Living With Cancer, (www.plwc.org) A lot of info on the web, some good, some not so good, His Dr is the best source of what to expect.

If someone masturbates everyday... Would he get prostate cancer soon

If someone masturbates everyday... Would he get prostate cancer soon?
Well if some guy masturbates everyday is there any posibility he would get prostate cancer?? Or he would not be able to get a girl pregnant?? What are the consequences of mastubating everyday or 3 or 4 times a week at a young age like 17 to 18???

wtf...
2 :
No, but your arm might fall off. Jeez dude there's no consequence's to masturbating.
3 :
You aren't going to get cancer, so don't worry about it. If you spend all your time beating off your never going to be able to get a girl- so don't even worry about if you can get her pregnant or not.
4 :
As a matter of fact, masturbating can reduce the chances of prostate cancer....
5 :
actually it's quite the opposite. It is healthy to masturbate everyday so that you take old the old and unused sperm cell and changing it. Prostate cancer usually affects those with poor sexual drive(older men). And with healthy sperm cells, (and proper taking care of the pregnancy), you decrease the risk of having any abnormality on your future child!
6 :
Masturbating everyday is as normal to anyone, and sometimes more frequent of an activity, above the age of 13 as breathing.

I will pray for your dad. My grandma just found out about her cancer as well and we're still waiting to hear from the oncologist what stage she's at. Hopefully this Thursday.

You and your dad will be in my prayers. Cancer is so evil....Best of luck and your family is in my prayers

Your farther should get implanted into his prostate gland a radioactive isotope. It is said to stop the cancer from getting any bigger,Ask his doctor

I had prostate cancer and was cured with proton radiation .. Look up the website called PROTON BOB.. When I was being treated there with Proton Radiation... some men were there having proton treatments who had other treatments in the past that did not work.. If your father is not too far along and can go to Loma Linda or maybe MD Anderson for proton treatments he may still have a chance.. Proton Radiation is almost a complete cure.. and many doctors will stll not recommend it.. very disgusting.... read the patient testimonial section of former patients on the Proton Bob website.

Dear Lord, if it be in accordance with the Father's will, please eradicate this father's cancer... and all cancer of the world. Father, we claim this healing for Mark's dad. We stand on Your Word in faith. It is a priviledge to pray for all requests, dear one. Psalm 6:2-4 Have pity on me and heal my feeble body. My bones tremble with fear, and I am in deep distress. How long will it be? Turn and come to my rescue. Show your wonderful love and save me, LORD. Jeremiah 32:17 "Ah Lord God! Behold, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power and by Thy outstretched arm! NOTHING is too difficult for Thee!..." Jeremiah 33:6 "Behold, I (God) will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth." Mark 9:23-24 Jesus replied, "Why do you say *'IF* you can'? Anything is possible for someone who believes!" Right away the boy's father shouted, "I do have believe! Please help my unbelief!" Psalm 34:10,15 "The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; BUT THEY THAT SEEK THE LORD SHALL NOT BE IN WANT OF ANY GOOD THING. The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry." Isaiah 59:1 "Behold, the Lord's hand is not so short it cannot save; Neither is His ear so dull it cannot hear." Isaiah 65:24 "And it will come to pass that BEFORE they call I will answer; and while they are STILL SPEAKING, I will hear." Jeremiah 29:11-14 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'Plans for welfare and not calamity to give you a future and a hope.' 'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.' 'And you will seek me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.' 'And I will be found by you,' declares the Lord..." Father God - You alone are our healer. You alone can defeat this awful cancer. Please be with Mark's Father as he struggles with this disease. Send Your Holy Spirit to comfort them, bring them Your joy and Your peace, and walk with them as they seek Your aid in this matter. In Jesus' name, I ask. AMEN. Peace.

Prostate Cancer Realities

Prostate Cancer Realities?
Hello. I found out yesterday that my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer over a year ago. He kept it a secret from me. He has been hospitalized for over a week. He is in bad shape. The cancer has spread to his pelvis bone area. A specialist is planning to stop the spread of his cancer. My dad's vital organs are in perfect condition. I love my dad more than life. He is more than a dad. He is my friend. I don't have too many friends in this life. What are his chances to survive?

Geeez, I'm so sorry. I can't tell you what his chances are, sorry. No one here could actually, you should educate yourself on this cancer, google it, go to the library and research it, don't boggle down your dad with depressing questions about it though, unless he wants to talk to you about it. I'm glad a specialist is trying to stop the spread, and I will pray for you guys. I know the fear you are going thru right now, I just lost my father a month ago (not to cancer), all you can do is be there for him and support him, spend as much time with him as you can and stay positive, help him stay positive too, and don't be mad at him from hiding this from you, he obviously loves you, and wanted to spare your feelings.
2 :
I wish so much that I had the answer you want. I have prostate cancer too, but mine appears to be in remission. Even if you were more detailed in your description of your dad's cancer as to how far it has spread and what treatments the oncologist is using, there is absolutely no one here that can truthfully and accurately answer your question. There is simply no one here that can know. Your best and only source of information is going to be your dad's doctor. You and your dad are both blessed by the friendship you share and I sincerely envy you. I lost my dad when I was 14 to heart disease before we had time to explore friendship. God Almighty, how I hate what this disease does to good people! Stay close to him and know that you have at least two new friends keeping you both in their prayers tonight - me and the previous poster who sounds as if she is as moved as I am. May God bless us all and favor your dad with the best of outcomes.
3 :
Hi Blue Ridge! It is really heart aching when the person you love so much is afflicted with a disease that even modern medicine cannot help. Modern medicine today has become so commercialized that doctors today have focused their mode of treatment on pure chemical solutions rather than the more natural, friendlier use of what our natural body is made up of. I would like to share this knowledge with you and I hope it helps. Cancer basically develops from the failure of the afflicted person to eliminate his toxic metabolic wastes. This type of waste is much different from the wastes (feces) that we pass out everyday. The toxic metabolic wastes are byproducts of cell metabolism and these are acidic wastes that when they accumulate destroy the cells. Normally the cells are alkaline. You probably know how harmful acids can be. These metabolic acids are usually eliminated from the body through the kidneys. You would note that urine analysis often times reveal urine to be acidic. If the kidneys fail, the person undergoes dialysis for the purpose to cleanse the blood because it poisons the body if not properly eliminated. When acids accumulate inside the cells, usually due to water shortage, the inner components are destroyed. Worst is when the DNA are damaged. DNA carries the normal blue print of how the cells should behave. When destroyed, it does not follow the normal processes like in growth. Normally, the cell wall bears receptors to sense that the cells have attained the maximum growth possible. This prevents it from encroaching into adjacent cells. If the DNA is destroyed, the control is lost and so growth continues beyond the normal causing mass, lumps and other forms. Only the proper restoration of the DNA to its normal condition will stop it. This uncontrolled invasion of cells into other tissues is called malignancy or cancer. The basic culprit is accumulation of the toxic acidic metabolic wastes. So to counteract this effect, you must first give your Dad adequate amount of alkaline water. Mineralized water is alkaline. The human body is at least 70% water and it is the most natural element to combat the accumulating metabolic wastes. The incursion of water into cell and its excursion out is the most natural method to cleanse the toxic acidic wastes. No chemical drug nor treatment modality will perform this job inside the cell. Water is the best diuretic and unless your Dad is given sufficient water he won't be able to cleanse his systems. Avoid other forms of beverages because only water is the most efficient cleansing medium. Give your Dad 50 ml/kg/day of water. Spread it throughout the day. Make sure you give him mineralized water because water only becomes alkaline in the presence of minerals like magnesium and calcium. Otherwise it is acidic. Hope this help!
4 :
How old is Dad? Prostate cancers often grow so slowly that if the doctor can contain the cancer to within the prostate, the patient will die from old age before the cancer really threatens their life. Statistically, there's a 76% chance your dad will survive more than 15 years with prostate cancer without any treatment (if nothing else gets him first) so if he is already 80+, they may do nothing at all except "watchful waiting". If he is a younger man, then there are lots of treatment options, most of which are close to 100% effective. "Cancer" is a horrible word and it scares us all, but it is a reality that we are ALL going to die eventually, I'm afraid, and it has to be of something! Enjoy your Dad while you have him. He's probably not going to be "perfectly healthy" but chances are he will be alright...best wishes to him...
5 :
Based on your description, his cancer has metastasized from the prostate and is invasive to the bone. This is stage 4 cancer, which is more challenging to treat than earlier stage malignancies. Your Dad will likely be given chemotherapy and radiation targeting the bone tumor. Bone cancer specific drugs such as Zometa (zoledronic acid) have strong efficacy for cases such as his. It is impossible to know how an individual patient will fare as their treatment progresses. Chemo and radiation frequently slow or temporarily stop cancer spread. For a few exceptional patients, cancer goes into permanent remission. Your Dad's oncologist will develop a treatment plan reflecting the risks and potential benefits of available treatments. While it is generally not possible to eradicate stage 4 cancer, patients often have many years of good quality life ahead of them. Best wishes.
