urinary frequency, painful urination, unable to become erect? These are some of the signs of prostate cancer, however there maybe more. If you are concerned that you may have prostate cancer you should see a doctor who can do a DRE (digital rectal examination) to see if the prostate is enlarged, or they can do a blood test and check PSA levels to detect for enlargement of the prostate..which may indicate cancer. hope this helps

From what I understand you need to urinate more frequently but are then unable to go or is a very small amount. When you do urinate it is said to be painful. It can be difficult to become erect. These things can also be caused by an enlarged prostate. The best thing to do is get checked by a doctor :-)

Prostate cancer often does not cause symptoms for many years. By the time symptoms occur, the disease may have spread beyond the prostate. When symptoms do occur, they may include: -Frequent urination, especially at night. -Inability to urinate. -Trouble starting or holding back urination. -A weak or interrupted flow of urine. -Painful or burning urination. -Blood in the urine or semen. -Painful ejaculation. -Frequent pain in the lower back, hips, or upper thighs. Some of these symptoms are also present in some prostate disorders other than cancers such as benign prostate enlargement.
