By correlation, not definite causation, I believe so. Most men do what you're talking about, and most men have enlarged prostates by a certain age. I believe the chaste life would keep the prostate small. I need to see more figures on this, but it's a deductive hunch.

Once every month would be OK, though I doubt if a person could hold out that long. Your safety net is nocturnal emissions which will automatically occur when your sexual tension reaches a certain point, men are more likely to get prostate trouble from bad eating habits and excessive alcohol or a degenerative disease rather than from periodic sex.

I don't know about enlargement - that comes to everyone, sooner or later. There is some reason to think it reduces the chance of prostate cancer, but this is not well established.
