Hi, someone that i know has the exact symptoms of prostate cancer and it runs in his family so he probably has prostate cancer. Does anyone know how fast prostate cancer spreads? He just started experiencing all the symptoms so does this mean the prostate cancer just developed? Also do you know how much the cost for surgery is without any medical insurance? Please take this question seriously, its very important to me thank you

You're thinking too far ahead, first of all, he needs to go to the doctor to get tested for prostate cancer, it could be benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), in either case, he should take Proscar or Avodart to treat BPH and/or help prevent prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer patients rarely have a problem with insurance as they are often on Medicare by the time they get it. LiT is correct he needs to start with his doctor and office visit and a PSA doesn’t cost much.
