Wallace I asked this question after receiving letters complaining women are not receiving proper treatment & diagnosis for endometriosis because, “it is a non-cancerous woman’s disease”. Yes.They are hormone supressants.Hormones play a large part in the formation of endometriosis growth as well as feeding the cancer cells.The specific drug I am referring to is Lupron Depot and it is also used to suppress early menses in extremely young girls.

Yes! I just finished a six month course of Lupron Depot, for the treatment of endometriosis. It suppresses estrogen production causing a temporary "menopause". Without estrogen, endometriosis can not "thrive". This is only a temporary solution; It slows down the progression of the disease, and should relieve the symptoms for 6 months to a year(can be longer),after treatment is completed.

Yes I took Zoladex injections once a month for six months for endometriosis. It is also used to treat cervical cancer and prostate cancer. It is intense and difficult to handle most side effects.
